Introducting The New Omega × Swatch Speedmaster MoonSwatch Misson To The Moonphase

Despite Swatch having teased the new MoonSwatch Mission to the Moonphase, affectionately dubbed "Snoopy," for some time, the official announcement came on March 21st during the Swatch × Tate event in London. Precisely two years after the debut of the initial 11 MoonSwatch models, Swatch unveils its latest Snoopy edition, now accessible in select boutiques.

Referring to the full moon, this model showcases an all-white color scheme. It includes a Bioceramic case, crown, and pushers as well as a VELCRO© strap. The chronograph's seconds hand, subdial hands, and tachymeter-scaled bezel remain in black. The subdials and bezel background retain their white hue. This model remains distinctive with its moon phase function, widely regarded as the most poetic of all watch complications. Snoopy, NASA’s safety ambassador since the 1960s, lies on the moon on the moon phase disc, which rotates in the subdial set at 2 o’clock. When under UV light, a hidden quote from a Snoopy comic strip, nestled among crescent moons and stars, is revealed on the unique subdial. All dials continue to carry the OMEGA X Swatch branding, the iconic Speedmaster logo, and the MoonSwatch logo. The box-shaped biosourced glass construction, the etched "S" in the center of the glass referencing the Swatch logo, the fine and sophisticated circular pattern on the dial outer ring and the recessed subdials, the sharp and smooth lugs construction, the iconic “dot over 90” detail on the tachymeter-scaled Bioceramic bezel and of course the unique Bioceramic feel remain consistent across all models. The indexes, hour and minute hands, and the tip of the chronograph seconds hand continue to feature Grade A Super-LumiNova® for a perfect glow in the dark.
