This Patek Philippe 6301A just sold for CHF 15.7 Million ($17.3 Million)

A Patek Philippe 6301A, featuring a distinctive sonnerie and minute repeater encased in steel with a hand-guilloché dial, recently fetched CHF 15.7 Million ($17.3 Million) at auction. Initially estimated by Christie's and Only Watch company at CHF 1.5–1.8 million. The bidding opened at CHF 5 million, rapidly escalating to 8 million, then 10 million, before gradually tapering off and concluding at CHF 15.7 million. The winning bid was placed by Zach Lu, a previous purchaser of a $6.5 million Tiffany & Co. Patek 5711 in 2021.
