For the first time in horological history, Jacob & Co. has engineered a movement that mirrors the construction, functionality, and appearance of a motor engine. With the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon, the fusion of automotive design and watchmaking reaches unprecedented heights. This timepiece is centered around a movement that defies conventional norms, as Caliber JCAM37 draws inspiration from Bugatti's iconic engines. Its distinctive architecture features a miniature, W-shaped, 16-cylinder engine block automaton, while four-coiled springs serve as shock absorbers. Encasing the 30°-inclined flying tourbillon, a tubular structure acts as a protective frame, reminiscent of automotive engineering. This particular model comes with a white titanium case and a rhodium-plated dial with blue indicies.
